July Journal: One Whole Year of Adventure
Share
July has been a month we’ll never forget.
The biggest milestone of all? Jago turned one.
It’s hard to believe that just twelve months ago the little boy who inspired Jago’s Tribe arrived, and now he’s a curious, adventurous toddler who is constantly on the move. We celebrated his first birthday surrounded by family and friends, with plenty of laughter, cake, and memories we’ll treasure forever. Watching him enjoy every moment reminded us exactly why we started this journey in the first place.
And as if turning one wasn’t enough… Jago is officially crawling!
Every day has become a new adventure as he explores every corner of the house and garden. Seeing the world through his eyes is a constant reminder of how important it is to create a future where children can grow up connected to nature and wildlife. That spirit of adventure has always been at the heart of Jago’s Tribe.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard on the next additions to the collection. One project we’re especially excited about is our weighted bamboo blankets. Finding the right manufacturing partner, however, has proved to be more challenging than we expected. We’re determined to produce a blanket that meets our standards for quality, sustainability and safety, and we’re actively searching for a manufacturer outside of China who shares those values. Sometimes taking the longer road is worth it when it means creating something we’re truly proud of.
We’re also incredibly excited to announce a new conservation partnership with The Zambezi Elephant Fund.
Elephants have always held a special place in our hearts, and we’re honoured to support the incredible work being carried out to protect Zimbabwe’s elephant populations and their habitat. To celebrate this partnership, we’re introducing a beautiful new colourway to our Nomad Collection called Mana, inspired by the breathtaking Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe. Mana Pools is one of Africa’s most extraordinary wilderness areas and a place renowned for its remarkable elephant conservation efforts. The name felt like the perfect tribute to a landscape that captures everything Jago’s Tribe stands for: adventure, wildlife and protecting the natural world for future generations.
As always, every purchase continues to make a difference. Through our conservation partnerships, your support helps protect wildlife while dressing the next generation of little explorers.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Whether you’ve followed us from the beginning or have only just discovered Jago’s Tribe, we’re so grateful you’re here.
Here’s to many more adventures ahead.
